Buying used items allows old products not to be wasted! Reducing our waste is key to minimizing our impacts on the earth!

Although buying the newest gadget may seem cool, it’s bad for our planet and increases the trash entering our landfills!
So before you go out to buy something new, take a look at your other options:
- Goodwill
- The Habitat Restore
- The Salvation Army
Many stores offer second-hand shops that have perfectly good clothing, building materials, furniture, toys and more for sale. The money they raise by selling these items are used in your community to do good things for others like building houses or job training for those out of work.
So next time you need to buy something, look into buying used first! Not only will it save you money but more importantly, help our planet!
