Knowing what can and can not be recycled can be a confusing but it is an important step to understanding sustainability!
Why Recycle?
Massive amounts of waste enter our landfills on a daily bases. Recycling was created to allow some of this waste to avoid the landfill and find a second life!
What Can Be Recycled?
Always check with your local recycling center to see what’s recyclable in your area. Not everything with the recycling logo can be recycled by your hometown facility.
What To Buy?
Try to shop for items that are packaged in recyclable containers. Weather it’s glass, plastic, or metal there are many types of these materials that are recyclable.
